Alleged ISB Graduate Turns A Singer After Rahul Gandhi Denies Giving Ticket To Her
12 Apr 2019
Priyanka Chaturvedi, a Congress party spokesperson and an ace mathematics expert has chosen an alternative career path, way before the Lok Sabha 2019 election results are even out. In a recent presser, Chaturvedi was spotted singing a different tune (no, literally) when she started reciting a song to promote her singing skills.
Recently the Congress party handed out a ticket to actress Urmila Matondkar. In a piece of unrelated news, Priyanka Chaturvedi was denied a party ticket by Rahul Gandhi. Days later, Chaturvedi who is herself an ISB dropout sang "Kyunki Mantri Bhi Kabhi Graduate Thhi," a song meant to take a dig at BJP leader Smriti Irani, who is currently leading from Amethi against Congress President Rahul Gandhi.
Currently, it is not confirmed if the singing episode was a stunt to vent out frustration for not getting a ticket from Rahul Gandhi or if Priyanka Chaturvedi is indeed exploring alternative career options given the impending defeat of the Congress party in upcoming elections.
Priyanka Chaturvedi is not the only Congress worker who is seeking an alternative career path apart from politics. Earlier Congress President Rahul Gandhi along with his mother UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi was seen washing dishes, allegedly trying out new possibilities to earn a livelihood after losing the 2019 General Elections.
